Reserved Seat Covers

Reserved Seat Covers are Curtains For You's most popular product. Easy to put on the top of a chair, and made to blend in, except for the embroidery, which stands out; they are the perfect alternative to putting a small placard on chair to reserve it for the leader, pastor, usher, handicapped person, drama team, etc. Small placards are easily moved to another seat or mysteriously disappear. Embroidery on Reserved Seat Covers is easy to see from rows away and large enough that they are harder to move to another chair or hide somewhere.

Below is a collection of various seat covers made for clients. As most chairs and design specifications are unique, each order is custom made. Please scroll down past the pictures to see available colors of fabric, thread, fonts, and extras.

Please note: the four consecutive numbers in the descriptions refer to the color of thread used.

Seat Covers with embroidery of a 5" wide emblem, alternating with blank seat covers. Fabric is Bright Blue FR66.

Bright Blue fabric with white embroidery (#0015). Handicapped symbol. The largest dimensions of the embroidery are 4 1/2" high by 3 7/8" wide. Cost is $24 (embroidery on one side)/$32 (embroidery on both sides).

Bright Blue fabric with white embroidery (#0015). Font is Tahoma. The largest dimensions of the embroidery are 4 3/4" high by 10 5/8" wide. Cost is $27 (embroidery on one side)/$40 (embroidery on both sides).

Light Navy fabric with light yellow (#0640) and cream (#0270) embroidery. Font is London. The largest dimensions of the embroidery are 4 3/4" high by 7 5/8" wide. Cost is $27/$40.

Chocolate Brown fabric with light gold embroidery (#0832). Font is Arial. Chocolate Brown fabric is no longer available. Warm Brown is a very close match to it, and is available. Cost is $24/$32.

Navy fabric with light grey embroidery (#0150). Font is Cooper. Cost is $26/$36.

Charcoal Grey fabric with light grey embroidery (#0182). Font is Tahoma. Cost is $26/$35.

Dune fabric with maroon embroidery (#2333). Font is Wedding. Cost is $24/$32. Fits most 20" wide chairs by Bertolini.

Bright Blue fabric with orange embroidery (#1220). Font is Cooper. Cost is $24/$32.

Grey fabric with black embroidery (#0020). Font is London. Cost is $24/32.

This seat cover wraps around the built-in arm rest. Beneath the arm rest, the seat cover attaches to itself with hook and loop tape. Bright Blue fabric with White embroidery (#0015) of the handicapped symbol. Cost is $26/$36. Please note that the seat back had to be sent in to achieve this fit.

For those who need extra security that their seat covers will not "walk away", try this option. Parachute cord is sewn into the bottom hem. This allows you to tie the seat cover to the chair itself (depending on the type of chair). Various colors of parachute cord are available. $32/$45. Parachute cord adds $5/seat cover.

Reserved Seat Covers are small enough that when removed for a particular meeting, they compact to stow easily in a bin. If makeup, food, or dirt smears onto them, they can be laundered up to 160° F. They are designed and made to fit your particular type of chair and needs. They are cut and sewn together to perfectly fit your chairs.

This is how the glow-in-the-dark embroidery looks in a dark room, after being exposed to light. Glow-in-the-dark embroidery is perfect for planetariums.

This pew sash has Black fabric with tan thread (#1123). Font is Helvetica. 12" wide by 30 1/2" long. The pocket is 3 1/2" high by 11" wide. Cost is $28/$42.

Pew Sashes! These are not only for pews, but for people who frequently use different venues. Different sizes of pew sashes and pockets are available. You get the same color options as regular seat covers. If you want 1"x2" pieces of hook tape in the corners, please add $2/pew sash.

Grey fabric with Black embroidery. Embroidery is 5.3" high x 12" wide. Font is Helvetica. Cost is $36/$56.

There are 59 fabric colors, and 315 thread colors from which to choose, in addition to numerous fonts. The seat covers are made from an inherently fire retardant fabric.

Please note: "Raspberry" has been discontinued.

"Artic Gray" is a very pale grey, it is not as pictured.

Stocked colors are: Alps Blue, Arctic Grey, Atomic Red, Black, Blue/Gray, Bordeaux, Bright Blue, Burgundy, Cadet Blue, Charcoal Grey, Cognac, Copper, Dark Green, Greenella, Dune, Grey, Light Navy, Lunar, Navy, Plum, Royal Blue, Sage, Shrimp Tone, Warm Brown, and White.

If you want a color that is not stocked, the order needs to be for 12+ seat covers.

4. Choose Your Add-Ons

Vinyl Pocket: If you want a clear vinyl pocket, please specify what size (in inches). This is premium double-polished clear vinyl. Each pocket starts at $4 apiece.
Glow-in-the-dark thread, Metallic thread, or Variegated thread. It adds an average cost of $5/seat cover with embroidery on one side.
Parachute cord. $6/seat cover.

Pricing Guide

Reserved Seat Covers typically cost only $24 apiece. The prices listed below are estimates only. Please choose a fabric color, thread color, font, word or phrase to embroider (pictures and logos are available at an additional cost), and quantity for a quote.

To ensure proper fit: If available, please provide the name of who made your chairs, what style they are, and what size. Many patterns are stocked.

If this information is not available, please take some pictures of your chairs and measure the width of the chair back.

Some chair backs may need to be traced. Trace your seat back(s) and mark exact measurements on the tracing (width and thickness). Thickness of seat backs vary greatly. Please note it at the top, in the middle; at the corners; 6" down the side, and 12" down the side. The more details and measurements that you provide will result in a better fit of seat cover.

To help ensure the best fit possible, you may send a seat back to the address listed at the bottom of this webpage. Seat backs will be returned with the completed order.

Most auditoriums have three different widths of seat backs. Please check your chairs, blueprints, and/or invoices/packing slips.

Orders of five to eleven: $24 apiece (includes embroidery of text on one side), $30 prototype charge (only one $30 charge, even if you have four sizes of seat backs), and shipping. Fabric color choice is limited to stocked colors.
Orders of twelve to twenty-nine: $24 apiece (includes embroidery of text on one side), $20 cut fee, and shipping.
Orders of thirty or more: $24 apiece (includes embroidery of text on one side) and shipping.

If embroidery is desired on the second side of the Reserved Seat Cover, it is an additional $8+ apiece.
If a graphic is desired a digitizing fee will apply (approximately $15-$45).
Extraordinarily large embroidery is subject to a price increase (the first 8,000 stitches are included in standard pricing).
The cut charge applies only if a particular color of fabric is not in stock. No cut charges for black FR66, ever.
